"I came from El Salvador 9 years ago. I work at Notre Dame Long Term Care as a CNA and would like to become a nurse there. The Notre Dame Educational Bridge Center is helping me to reach my goals with the opportunity to improve my English and get my US Citizenship. I feel this place is like my family because we care for each other and work together to improve care for our residents. "I came here from Ghana and began work at Notre Dame as a CNA in 2003. In 2007 I was chosen to enter the Intercare Alliance program to get my LPN degree at Quinsigamond Community College. With the help of the Notre Dame Educational Bridge Center and Sr. Helen Wright, not only am I now an LPN but I am also a US Citizen. I am returning to Ghana as a US citizen to bring my two children home to a new life."
